sherryberry: I keep thinking that too. Maybe next year will be baby’s first Christmas. πŸ˜›

2 more women announced their pregnancies yesterday. And 3 babies were born this week in my circle. Seriously, it feels like my Fiance and I are the only people we know who aren’t expecting/a brand new parent. (It’s not true, there are a number of couples who aren’t, but it certainly feels that way.)

I got my period today. Guess this past couple of weeks was just a big FU from mother nature. I let myself have a cry and then got back to work. Feeling pretty melancholy. My Darling Husband decided to go and buy the furniture we’ve been waiting on to try and make me feel better, and I think he’s pretty disappointed too… At least now I’ll have a cycle under my belt so we can start trying.

sostobe: I guess it’s a really populare time to announce with family being around. You really aren’t the only ones though!

I just realized that I have to wake up earlier thea when I usually take my BBT tomorrow to drive my sister to the airport. Bummer!! If I’m going to have an average length cycle, then I’m going to O soon. I’m sad that this is going to mess up the important part of my chart. I’ve been doing so good with taking it at the same time everyday. Oh well. I wouldn’t trade their visit for the world, that’s for sure. Anyone else’s charts messed up by the holidays?

koi424: You can use a temp corrector online. There’s one in FF if you have VIP, otherwise you can google for a temp corrector. How much earlier than normal do you have to wake up?

sherryberry: Oh nooo. That’s so disappointing. At least you can try now and that’s crazy exciting!

koi424: I feel ya! Since Darling Husband and I hosted Thanksgiving my temping didn’t get screwy, but next month we’ll be at my in-laws for Christmas and of course I’m supposed to O right around then. I have no idea how I’m going to set an alarm and temp correctly while there. When we’ve gone there in the past I’ve just skipped the day but it’s never been around my predicted O date. Gah.

Thanks guys. On the plus side, WINE. Darling Husband brought me two kinds, and cherry strudel as well. He knows I need some extra comfort especially since this particular period is gross and heavy. Ick. At least I am no longer wondering.

Everyone have a good Saturday?

It’s my fertile window from today and I wish we could start trying, but I’m going on a 2-week trip next month over Christmas including drinking and skydiving so I really don’t want to be pregnant for that! We’re planning to start NTNP after I get back… one more month to go (unless we both freak out haha!)

koi424: We aren’t American. πŸ™‚ This is just another normal weekend for us! We aren’t the only ones, but it certainly feels like we’re in the minority amongst our friends, family and coworkers! We’re early 30s, its to be expected. And it really isn’t that much longer to wait, I’m just totally ready to go for it now. And I am not a patient woman!

Roll Call Info:

Age/DH Age: I’m 30 and Darling Husband is 31.

When will you TTC? July 2015 when I will be off probation at work.

What are you doing to get ready to TTC? Prenatals, working out and loosing weight. Reading the boards and some articles. Will go on Vitex and those kind of supplements when it gets closer.

Do you chart? Not the moment. I did for a few months last year when I went off the pill when we were NTNP. I went back on the Nuvaring when I started my new job so there is no point in charting now. I will again once we begin TTC.

When do you daydream most about babies? Late at night (like now) when I have some free time. I have to admit I am getting more baby fever now than before and are looking forward to it. Feel like it’s time to take the plunge.
Right now I feel more confident about TTC this time because Darling Husband is more open and willing to talk about it. I think it’s because we are both established and situated in our careers and in a stable situation.. We were thinking about it last year and I actually went off the pill for several months but nothing happened. So I am wondering this time if I have to go off early again (maybe Mayish) to try and regulate my cycles since they were different lengths and different O days before. Haven’t been diagnose with anything but will keep an eye on things.

I’m on the list for Jan ’15, but Darling Husband and I had a couple of drinks last night and got a bit frisky in bed and I said ‘you can finish inside me if you want’ and he said he did actually want to! I clarified ‘would it be scary?’ and he said not at all, and we went ahead!! I kept waking during the night I was so excited haha! I slept with a pillow under my hips, and we’re 3-4 days pre ovulation according to my tracking app (I don’t want the stress of charting/temping) so there’s a chance!! I’m so excited but trying not to get too excited.. I’m going on a trip next month so I wouldn’t want nausea for that plus some drinks on xmas would be nice too πŸ˜€

So long story short, Darling Husband and I are officially ttc!! Eeek!!!!!

Hello.. πŸ™‚

Roll Call Info:

Age/DH Age: Me: 25, Fiance: 29

When will you TTC? Well, we’ve been NTNP for quite some time.. Because we honestly thought we weren’t going to get married. But we’ve decided to plan a little elopement. So we will ‘officially’ TTC May 2015 after the wedding.
What are you doing to get ready to TTC? Reading these boards! Fiance takes vitamins regular and actually encourages mine. I’m just trying to gather as much information as possible, OPK, temping, charting etc, because I’m thinking there may be some issues since we have been NTNP for well over a year.

Do you chart? No.. I think I will start April.
When do you daydream most about babies? Yes. His brother and sister in law have been TTC. My two best friends are twins, one with two children the other with one. And our other close friend from highschool also has two. So I am around kids all the time. I’ve always seemed to have that motherhood urge though.
Just wanted to say hello! πŸ™‚

arielmerms: I had to wake up 2 hours early. I made sure to still get 3 hours of sleep. I still have a few days of my FF free trial left so I used the temp correcter and wrote it down. Thanks for pointing that out! I never would have noticed it. Not sure if I’ll use that temp. I guess I’ll see how the graph looks over a few more days and see which one seems to fit better.

RunnerBride13: I need to update my expected date for starting to no set date. I was hoping that we would start TTC this month, but no cigar πŸ™ Hopefully soon, but I don’t want to push Darling Husband.
