I also wrote a post last night and it didn’t work… huh! 

 

Only just started charting, it will be interesting to see the full cycle picture once it’s done. Three days so far and already the temps are all over the place, 36.2, 36.4 and then 36.3. 

 

Had another mope last night. I think I’m in some sort of pre-TTC funk just thinking that the end of the year is so damn far away. But seriously though, EVERYONE we know minus 1 couple (and my sister and her partner) is either pregnant, has their first baby or has children. 

 

Thinking of my DH’s brother and his g/f of 6 months and they are finding out their baby’s gender at the end of March.

 

I said to DH ‘it’s hard to get you to see how I feel. But I guess it’s kind of like, imagine if you were working at a company for a few years and working hard to get a promotion and then all of a sudden your much younger brother gets employed at the same company, does something impressive and gets promoted straight up, ahead of you. It feels kinda like that’.

@amyinbrisbane:  I just started charting too, mid cycle. And my temps are everywhere too. It’s so hard to see what the heck is going on. But I hope that when my new cycle starts from the beginning that I will be able to see what is going on a little better!

Holy format change, Batman!  This is going to take me a little while to get used too….Meanwhile, here’s the response I had all cued up right before the site went dark

@Krispi:  I take Rainbow Light prenatals – the ones I take are the prenatal petites, so they’re smaller but you have to take 3 per day.  But if you want one pill per day, they also have a once-a-day version. I like it because it’s a food-based vitamin, and they were highly recommended on here by a lot of the TTC bees when I was looking.

@amyinbrisbane:  *Hugs* sorry you’re having a hard time.  It’s so hard not to compare ourselves to others in our lives, but we have to try to remember that what’s right for someone else right now might not be right for us, and we don’t really know what others’ lives and relationships are like on the inside (I tell my husband this all the time, but need to be better about taking my own advice).  Also, with the charting, hang in there!  It takes a little while to really see a pattern, but I know you will – and if you’re still having a hard time, the charters will be happy to analyze with you 🙂

@emsy3110:  OMG, purging all the crap, yes!  This is what we’re doing too.  My DH is also a bit of a pack-rat, but he knows it – just last night, I was helping him reorganize his dresser, and HOLY CRAP the man has more t-shirts than any human rightfully should.  Many of them, I’ve never even seen him wear (in nearly 7 years together).  We’re going to be taking a lot of stuff to Goodwill before we move.

@luckylady3090:  Oh no, I used to regularly skulk around the “family planning” section of the store – I felt like I was going to get caught doing something I’m not supposed to!  I’ve since just given in and bought a bunch (but I’m also off the pill, so I like having tests around just in case).

luckylady3090:  You’re not alone at all! I think all men are different, but for me, as it gets closer to TTC, DH says and talks way more about TTC than he used to. He asks when I think I’ll be fertile and we talked about when to start telling people when we get a BFP. It’s so exciting!!

@Krispi:  I take a big red one, i think its Nature’s Miracle? or something? I got them at Costco (way cheaper than Target for the same brand) and they have the DHA my Dr. advised. I don’t have any stomach issues with them either, bonus!

@Krispi:  I take the Up and Up brand from Target, they are reasonably priced. And I have had no side effects or anything from them, and the pills aren’t that big and just once a day. 🙂

@edgebee: That might be what I’ve been taking. I’ll have to check the label when I get home, but I think there’s something “natural” in the name. It’s a huge pill – like over an inch long. But I haven’t had any side effects yet either.

I have a doctor’s appointment on April 7, so I’ll see if they recommend anything different at that time. It’s my annual checkup, but I also plan to ask about TTC. Plus, I want to ask her and my neurologist both what they would think about me taking my migraine medicine while pregnant.

@SadieBee:  I know, I’m getting excited to start packing all of our stuff too. And I’m also excited to get rid of a lot of stuff I don’t want to bringg with us. DH is a bit of a hoarder so I need to go room by room and slowly get rid of thing without him seeing too much of it. He will never know we had most of those things and will never know they are gone as long as he doesn’t see them! 

@Krispi:  I take the Jaimieson brand ones and I haven’t had any issues with the so far. They are once a day and not much bigger than a regular multivitamin. My doctor has prescribed me PregVit which I will start once I run out of my Jaimieson ones because they are covered by my insurance. 

@amyinbrisbane:  I also just started charting a few days ago (mid cycle) and my temps have been going up and down a bit. I’m hoping to get a better picture next cycle. And I know what you mean about everyone around you being pregnant or having a baby. It’ll be all of our turn soon!

 

@livelaughlove628:  Yes exactly I’m so excted to have an actual date now! Now I’m just getting more and more terrified to tell work I’m leaving because they have no idea.

Wow… ! Totally different. 

 

Can I just have a quick mini rant… so I’m almost the only one out of my friends who has no kids, and I seem to be the one running around and coming to them! I drive to most of my friend’s houses and when I suggest they come to mine they cancel at the last minute or have some reason why they can’t. Even my friend who’s kids are like 3 and 5. 

I’m going to try and remember, that when I have a baby, that just because someone else does not does not mean they should put in all of the effort to maintain the friendship!!! Rage!!!!!!!!

Am I a super weirdo for browsing the pregnancy test section in Walgreens/ Raley’s/ Target with no intention to buy? Well, unless there is a super good deal but I am like a magnet…I am wayyyyy too excited to pee on a stick. 

Anyway, I talked to a few people about time off, health insurance, disability for leave…I feel almost weird about it because I am not currently incubating a human. I almost feel like a fraud…maybe it’s just because this is so NEW to me.

@luckylady3090:  LOL. I have confessed that I have already bought two (3 packs) of FRERs, because they were on sale at Target a couple of weeks ago. I feel better about it knowing that we can officially start trying later this month, but I’m so excited to be POAS too. I cannot imagine how scary/anxious/nervous/excited it will be, especially for the first time! Man, I bet the first two week wait will not be fun! LOL.
