@SadieBee: Yeah!I LOVE doing research – I feel like it calms me down to know more about a subject but at the same time too much information is a bad thing lol. I really didn’t want to research too much because then I start to overthink and wonder about the “what if this happens??”. So we’ve stopped at that chapter for the moment. My DH seems interested to know what kind of changes to expect so maybe we’ll continue.

To all the bees that have recently gone off BCP, did AF come on time? I’m supposed to start tomorrow but I don’t want to freak out if it doesn’t. I know everyone is different, looking for some insight

@livelaughlove628: Mine came as usual, but I’ve only had AF once so far, so we’ll see if it’s different this month.

@livelaughlove628: I have been off BCP for 2 months now. First cycle was 28 days and now on my 2nd cycle AF came today after a 31 day cycle. I would say I am back to being fairly normal because my cycles were about 30-31 days before going on BCP.

Age: Both 25
When will you TTC?: When my husband gets a job in the area (currently long distance due to some crazy life choices) He will be moving here regardless in June 2014 and we will reevaluate
What are you doing to get ready to TTC?: Eating healthier, research, finding a house (need somewhere to put the baby!)
Do you chart? Link to the chart: Not yet
What are your non-baby New Year’s resolutions?: I didn’t really make any.

@livelaughlove628: Looking back at my first cycle off BCP, AF came on day 31. Since then, my cycles have ranged from 27-31 days, so fairly regular. I know you said above that you aren’t charting – if you do want a little more peace of mind, though, it might help. It’s really helped me get a handle on what my body is doing, and since I know with certainty when I ovulated, I also know when to expect my period (and can see from my temps that I definitely am not PG). Just some food for thought!

Updating for the new roll call, although not much has changed with us.
Age: I’m 35. My husband is 36.
When will you TTC?: We are still on track for this summer to fall, depending on grad school.
What are you doing to get ready to TTC?: Not too much yet. Working on our finances. We’ve been talking about it more lately.
Do you chart? Link to the chart: Nope. Still on BCP.
What are your non-baby New Year’s resolutions?: (Still) working on getting my townhouse rented out. Paying off debt. Being healthier. Those are all indirectly related to TTC.

Hey all! Dh and I will be starting probably November!!
When will you TTC?: November/December 2014
What are you doing to get ready to TTC?: will be going off the pill in feb (after our delayed honeymoon) eating clean and limiting alcohol intake. Continuing to work out about 3 days a week! I already take a multi vitamin, vitamin D and a B complex but I may switch the multi for a pre natal soon
Do you chart? Link to the chart: not yet but will start once AF starts up again. After quitting BC once before I know mine will take about 3 months to get going.
What are your non-baby New Year’s resolutions?: pay off debt in hopes of becoming a SAHM!!!!

@livelaughlove628: I went off about 2 years ago to give my body a break and it took mine a solid 3 months to come back.

@livelaughlove628: I’m back on BCP, but when I went off of it a little while ago AF always came a few days later than it would have if I was still on the pill.

@SadieBee: the only reason I am off the birth control this month is because I threw it away oops so once af shows up this month I’ll be back taking the pill according to FF I didn’t ovulate ths month but that doesn’t really surprise me since I’ve been on birth control for a solid five years.
I’m hoping for your scenario because I get really anxious if its not on time
that happened to me when I got off the shot so I’m hoping that doesn’t happen again because then there would be no point of me even going back on birth control because then we would be almost to TTC

@SadieBee: Awesome! Thank you!
Does anyone else feel like that the level of their desire to have a child is directly related to their cycle? I always get super crazy about having children and I feel -so- ready when I’m about to ovulate. Then, once ovulation is over I have about a week where I’m like “meh, I like sleeping in, kids will be great some day”.
It seriously make me feel crazy. Once a cycle I’m all about babies and I’m talking to everyone about it, and then it goes away. Friggin hormones/biological clock!

Please remove me from the list. DH has agreed to start TTC right away!!

@MrsDe2013: I can’t say I can relate because I have babies on my mind all the time! DH talks about having a baby quite often too now so it doesn’t help with my baby fever!
