So….I THINK I may have good news. We may be TTC next month! DH asked me the other night when is the latest I would want to TTC. And I said next month πŸ™‚  He said ok, let’s see what happens next month. So I started to say ok, we can have sex this day, that day and the next… and he’s like no, just once! I’m like WTF! I know all it takes is once but come on, let’s REALLY try here! Lol …so I guess we will see what happens next month. I know he likes to make me squirm.  Last week I got,” if it snows more than 18 inches, then it’s baby making weather.” Of course we got 2 inches yesterday.  Womp Womp…

@MiJeS1104:  Oh man! I’d slap my DH if he teased me like that!!  I guess he wants to just take it easy next month??? That’s so exciting!!!  My DH said August, but he’s more like the type who’d say we’d start August 31st!

@MiJeS1104:  I would die if DH said that about the snow! At least he’s being open and playful about it? sounds like next month may be a nail biter! So happy for you, I got some good news too!

After yet another talk about TTC last night, DH was much more open to talking and throwing around ideas. Thanks to some bee-inspired ideas that I brought up we both have agreed that january/february may be a good time to TTC. We also talked about the things that were “holding us back” from TTC, and we’re both just waiting on home ownership more than needing to have x-amt saved before children! I’m excited that it could be as soon as this time next year, at the same time sad that I have to wait a whole year while suffering baby-rabies alone! lol

@Emma20130601:  I think at some point, once you’ve travelled a bit and the ‘going out every weekend’ scene no longer holds as much appeal, people do come around to the ‘settling down, hanging out in the house on the weekend, maybe even having a kid’ idea πŸ™‚ Good luck with TTC in the future!

I’ve gotta say, having a new job totally takes your mind away from obsessing about a TTC timeline hahaha, I’m so preoccuped for most of the day and time goes by pretty fast!

@MiJeS1104:  Oh congrats on the great talk with DH! I hope everything works out for you guys. How exciting!!! My DH teases the same way so I totally understand!

@FreckledFox:  LOL my DH is like that too. He will say he is going to do something “this month” but then waits until the very last day of the month to do whatever it is. It drives me craaaaaazy. When we were talking about getting engaged and he already had the ring (yea I was super involved in that process lol) he told me he was going to propose sometime before Sept. He waited until August 28th to do it! I had totally given up hope and assumed it wasn’t happening (which is what he wanted me to think….). LOL he is an ass like that sometimes. πŸ˜€

@mrscorgi:  That is so exciting!! It’s so surreal to think you guys could be trying this time next year, right?! I am sure the time is going to fly by!

@amyinbrisbane:  Yea I am starting a new job tomorrow after 5 months of being unemployed. Being home all day, I am definitely left with too much free time to sit around and think about having little ones in the house. This job is going to be a nice distraction. πŸ™‚

@emsy3110:  I always think the same things! LOL. I always think, if we get pregnant right away, I could be like nine months pregnant at Christmas time! It’s crazy! I’m sure the time will FLY by before we know it.

@emsy3110:  Thanks! the bee really is the best place to hang your crazies at the door before you explode on DH;) haha I dont have any friends who are in the same situation so its wonderful to come here and read about others who understand! ( I have one friend with an adorable 9 mo. old boy, but shes a single mother and can’t relate to my relationship with DH, but thank god for the baby fix when i get to see that little man!)

@Mrs. Coyote:  I know all too well the ideas that come to play when home by yourself all day! i’m finishing university and have entirely too much time on my hands, my secret baby pintrest board is booming πŸ˜‰  I’m working on coming up with a list of ideas and things that DH and I can do together for our last year before TTC! so surreal!

@mrscorgi: It does! I would much prefer that over having a huge belly in the summer time!! Haha. That could be so uncomfortable.
