@flownmuse: Oo! You might be right…

Well, that’s my first reaction, then caution steps in (am I really this cynical?!). Try not to focus on that date too much.  I’ve read on here of Waiting Bees who focus on one particular date and are either devastated if it doesn’t happen then, or are so worked up, they miss the joy of the moment when it does happen.

Of course, I do prefer to think you might be right and have everything crossed that you’ll be making an announcement in about 5 weeks’ time! x

@ukpussycat: Oh gosh, I know. I’m trying *really* hard not to get worked up, but I really think that has to be it. I don’t know what I’ll do if it’s not then. And don’t tell me it’s only 5 weeks! Eek. It’s the 7th of May and we’re going to York in England on that date…

@Mrs.SleepyKitty:  Haha, sorry, I didn’t mean to shock you!

York is beautiful. Have you been before?  The Shambles (better than it sounds!) is fab and the Minster is lovely.

I have everything crossed for you.

PS Just worked out the significance of the date next to your name).

@futuremrste: Defo don’t want to wait that long! Do you have any tickets booked for games before that?

@futuremrste:  Excellent!  I’d feel really self-conscious having that many people around.  You could be the first proposal of the new stadium!  And it’s not that long to wait., if it’s what you’d really like.

With jumbotron proposals, I always think of Phoebe and Mike in Friends… if he is going to do it this way, it should be far more successful!

@ukpussycat:I went to York in primary school and I loved it. I’ve wanted to go back for aggggges. I’m very excited. We are planning on going to York Minster at least. Do you have any other suggestions? And yeah, I had to pick a date, so I picked that one XD

@Mrs.SleepyKitty:  I’m not sure whether it would appeal to (both of) you, but the railway museum is excellent. Not sure which ones would be there now, but the steam trains are amazing and HUGE!

Hee hee!  That’s the Daddy’s little girl in me coming out!

Otherwise, the city is just lovely to wander around, with surely plenty of proposal ‘sites’…

@futuremrste:  We have no special events coming, no big plans to go anywhere or do anything special.

That’s the same here.  Our 3 year anniversary came and went earlier this month.  Zero.  Now I can’t think of anything specific.  Then again, it might happen ‘just because…’.

We are going to my brother’s house in Spain early June.  But I’m trying not to think too much about that, because it isn’t particularly special to us.

Oh, who knows…

But, I think we’re all of the same mind, however and wherever, with or without a ring, it will be special and at least it will have HAPPENED!
