My birthday is a week away and I was beginning to get my hopes up that maybe my present would be a ring. The last couple weeks my SO would mention my bday was coming up but never mentioned presents, or asked me what I wanted. This is unusual for him – he usually is begging for a hint of what I might want as a gift. I was really thinking that the proposal was coming! But!!!! He just asked me for a wish list for birthday presents. Argh! I’m going to go grumble and sulk on the couch now.

I know this feeling!!! My birthday is next week and we’re flying back home for it (we live in another province so I can go to the school of my dreams). Im not really expecting it, but I also have my three year anniversarycoming up in August, as well as a weekend trip to Seattle a week after that. Everything thos summer seems like the perfect opportunity!!! But since we only started talking about ribga a month or so ago, I doubt it’ll happen, so I’m grumbling right along with you! Happy birthday! (and I hope you get your ring!)

Yay June Babies! Mine is tomorrow and while I’m not getting a proposal, my parents came to town for the weekend. Which means SO will be asking blessing AND getting my mom’s engagement ring to propose to me with. Now to find a jeweler that can turn around a ring sizing in a matter of days! 😉
I think this will be a lucky month for all of us birthday gals!!!

Yay! I’m not alone! lol. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for all of you as well 🙂
When he asked me what I wanted I totally blanked because all I could think of was “the ring! I want the ring!” I’ll have to brainstorm tonight for something else – because if I’m not getting a proposal I want a nice gift at least 😉

I agree– put “proposal” as the first and only thing on your list! 😉
