I feel the same way!  I found the Bee when I got the engagement itch a while back and started googling rings online.  The ring threads kept coming up, and I started to lurk around for a few weeks before finding the “waiting” boards and gathered the courage to join the site myself.  Now, I love it.

I do feel silly talking to some of my friends about weddings and engagement, so the Bee is a wonderful place to vent or share exciting news with supportive, non-judgemental people!  Plus, it’s fun!  Laughing

Trust me, you are not alone! I’m not engaged but I found my way here through a friend who was blogging here and well, I haven’t left! It’s very addicting 🙂

I joined about 5 months before I got engaged. I found WB when I was looking for ideas for my sister’s wedding and I’ve never left.

@tenacity:  Totally, I’m technically a waiting bee but I’m mostly waiting for myself… I want to be out of Junior College and have been in my relationship another year before engagement (about 1/2 of the seven-year itch).

You are not alone!  I joined when I was lurking wedding stuff just for fun (knowing that an engagement would be coming within a year or so), and I loved the placwe so much I joined. I’m still not engaged, but by looking at my post count it is pretty obvious that I’m addicted.  HEck some of the waiting bee’s have been here for a few years!

You’re definitely not alone. I’m not engaged yet and I’ve been on the Bee for five months now. For me, it’s a great outlet for any waiting-related frustration I feel so it’s not unnecessarily vented onto the SO lol. Also, I’ve “met” some lovely Bees during my time here which is great.
