I need some help please if possible.
I’m a Christian and my fiance is athiest (but from a Muslim family)
We get married soon, but my fiances family want to throw us a walima.
What I’m wanting to know, in depth I guess, is what’s involved?
I have no problems with any religion. I adore his family. But I am a faithful, loyal Christian, and don’t wish to participate in things should they have links to anything. Example. I read somewhere on Google that the food served is linked to fertility?
My fiance (as the athiest that he is) has requested that no religion be involved. But I guess what I’m asking, is the small things…..does anybody have any information?
If all is just good honest food…..music…family and friends then great!
Again, I just don’t wish to participate in anything outside of my own faith.
I hope someone can advise. Thank you x
