natasha1196 :  I think waltz length is the perfect fit especially if it’s delicate. I had a waltz length veil. OR maybe it was a finger tip length but I’m only 5ft )on a good day) so I actually think mine was originally fingertip that appeared waltz on me. I had a fit/flair dress and didn’t feel like it cut in weird.

Pics because I will never look this awesome again:

I had a waltz length veil with my A-line dress and it looked great! I wanted it as long as possible without dragging on the ground because we had an outdoor ceremony, and I’m super happy with my choice. I love the veil you posted OP.

Mine is technically waltz length, but it’s a drop veil and with it over my face and my hair up it looks much shorter (actually too short – but I’m struggling to find a cheap plain cut edge drop veil in floor length anywhere!).

I like yours. Can I also say your dress makes your waist look beautiful.

I originally had a waltz length veil, but when I actually tried it on with the dress, it kind of was overpowered and made the veil look a little meh (my dress has a lot going on though), and mine was fit and flare. somathemagical ‘s dress looks more the style of yours and her veil looks perfect! Are you able to try the veil with the dress?

I don’t know who makes up these mandatory “rules”. Who says you can’t wear a waltz/ballet length veil with an A line or ballgown? Wear what you like. I have been to a couple of weddings where the brides wore a waltz length veil with an A line and not a single guest gasped in horror at the supposed faux pas.

Your dress is beautiful By The Way. I think that veil would amazing with it.

I had a waltz length veil. I thought it was perfect for my mermaid style dress. The veil ended right around where the dress started flaring (I’m 5’9). For your dress, I think fingertip length might be better if you do not want to do a cathedral length veil.
