@MMWedding – We officially tie the knot on October 11, 2009. We are having our ceremony and reception at Riverwalk Golf Course. It is right next to Fashion Valley Mall.

 What about you?

Hey just to confirm, it’s true – we do ask people if they blog for other sites. Mainly it’s because we don’t want other sites to think we are trying to steal their bloggers.  Also, we’ve had some confusion in the past when the same posts by the same Bee have appeared on multiple sites. So as a result, we screen for that now.

Hope that clears things up!

I will be applying again as soon as the ring is on the finger.  I am a little older than most here (39) but also a mom and haven’t blogged since 2 weeks ago…we had off/on colds (my child and I) and strep too..so one whole month was spent kinda recuuperating after working all day..

I wasn’t officially engaged when I applied, but I know that I won’t be one of these woman with a super long engagement. Again, ring is any day now 🙂

Hope all are doing great.

@Lattelove: That is great you are moving to north county. I’m sure you will love it.  If you need any recommendations on stores, restaurants etc. feel free to ask.

I’m glad to hear you like the Rancho Bernardo Inn.  Where was the ceremony and reception?  There are so many different sites at that venue…ours in on the Aragon Lawn and Bernardo Ballroom

@Lattelove & @hisMRS: maybe we can do a SoCal weddingbee meet-up!  I’m not sure when the bees usually plan those but it would be fun to meet all the SoCal Bees and readers!

I wannabee too but not quite sure I can make the cut! The Bee list is a little scary to me. I guess it doesn’t hurt to try and apply.

I Heart Weddingbee! I have been hive-stalking for over a year and recently got engaged 12/20/08 and just put a deposit on a ceremony site last week for 08/21/10. I have definitely been a Wanna Bee since the day I discovered Weddingbee. I’m too far out right now, but am already starting my own blog to get the juices flowing. I like all things pretty, handmade, artsy fartsy, and DIY-able.

 Check me out. http://www.momentscrafter.blogspot.com

Nice to see that North San Diego is represented here. I was born and raised in San Diego (Rancho Penasquitos), but I currently live in Chicago with the Fiance. We’ll be getting married in San Diego next year though. Does that make me a Semi-Destinatio Bride? or did I make that up?

I love the idea of being a Bee, but I don’t regularly blog now and the wedding isn’t tell September anyway. Maybe I will get up the guts to start a blog so I can apply LOL.

I’d love to blog as a Bee, but the blog I decided to start for wedding planning purposes also serves as a food blog — because I love to cook!  So, unless Weddingbee was looking for a food-oriented bride-to-be, I don’t think I’d be CLOSE to being considered.  Wish I could help edit posts and stuff though, because I LOVE that aspect of writing!

Being a bee would be great, but the blog I decided to start for wedding-planning purposes will also serve as my newlywed blog, and thus has a foodie slant to it.  So, unless the Bees that bee (hehe) are interested in a VERY foodie-oriented bride-to-be, I’ll stay in the curtains and continue to read avidly.  Oh, and wish I could help edit and prep posts, because I love writing something fierce.

I’m about to apply! I know it’s a long shot but I’ve been hoping for a while – just waiting for my month to apply:) I’m a October 2009 bride out of RI.

I recently re started my blog! I was blogging a while ago but it was about design at first since I’m a graphic designer – the blog started getting jumbled since I couldn’t stop focusing on wedding things so I wound up closing it. Bummer. I do have 15 posts now but there’s so much more to talk about!

Good luck to everyone – it’s such a wonderful community that anyone would be privaledged to be a part of. It’s kinda scary to think how many people apply!
