I had my veil custom made by a vendor I found here on weddingbee through a few other posts. Just search her name on weddingbee’s search bar and you’ll find some of the posts. Her name is Candi Merle and she owns her own company, Crowning Glory Designs in California. She is fantastic. She doesn’t advertise… most of her clients find her online and work with her strictly through email. I highly suggest you contact her if you can’t find a veil you like AND/OR you want a good price.
Candi uses bridal illusion fabric, but can create a drop veils like Kate Middleton’s (this is what I wanted) so there is no “poof.” But, she’ll create anything you want. Oh, and did I mention her prices are AT LEAST 50%+ cheaper than if you were to buy from a bridal salon? That includes shipping!!! My drop cathedral veil WITH blusher was only $73 + $13 for shipping (no tax) for a total of $86. If I were to buy that same veil at a salon, it would have been at least $200. She is super patient and worked with me on figuring out what I wanted. We probably exchanged 20+ emails. Contact her at [email protected]!
You won’t regret it.
