Ok, Bees! I’m officially out of my comfort zone when it comes to anything dealing with flowers…and I’m lost when it comes to finding budget-friendly centerpieces. I would like to see a picture and cost of your $20 or under centerpieces!
Our colors are purple/lavender, champagne, gold, and ivory. So far our plan is to have lavender overlays with gold chargers on the table…but that’s as far as I’ve gotten! I want our reception decor to be very romantic, and recently fell in love with a “Parisian/French” theme. So I would also love to see ANY decor that works with this theme.
Thanks so much for all your help!!

check out this website, its where I got my centerpiece decor and their prices are unbeatable! My centerpieces were for a vintage garden themed wedding, I got a variety of antique looking glass medicine bottles in 15 different colors/styles for $2.50 each (bulk discount) and used them as bud vases, the guests also took them home as souveniers. I was on a serious budget and my centerpieces only cost $15 per table.

Here is what we used for our 16 centerpieces (we had tiny tables for two lined up, so needed to optimize space for plates and glasses):
Vases: $2 each at Dollarama
River rocks: 6 bags at $1 each at Dollarama
4 vendella roses from a wholesaler: $1.29 per stem including tax
= not even $10 each
Everybody thought they were lovely and fit the space perfectly.

Hydrangeas- $5 stem, two of them
Mason jar- free
Mirrors- Paid $2 a piece and then resold them the same week.
Tealights- Had 70 of them for $40 and resold them the same week for the same price.
This picture didn’t really capture their beauty. They were big and full, I couldn’t get my hand around them. Everyone loved them so much.

You can get footed vases http://store.valueweb.com/servlet/whols53/Detail?no=153
spray paint them gold, or use gold gel water beads, and fill with a few cream colored flowers
will look like this only different colors- easily less than $20

We went with a French influence as well! Ours was more “French country” as we used the toile pattern you see in French china and whatnot! =D
The material was super cheap. I cannot remember the website off the top of my head…We bought it in one giant piece and bunched it rather than dealing with hemming it!
We found the vases at anything from Ross to garage sales and all the flowers are wholesale.

I would highly recommend potted flower centerpieces!!|
We are doing five 4inch pots and some votive candles on each table, with flowers grown by friends who own a local farm stand. I went to a local garden store and met with a manager who helped me order pots in bulk (and gave me a bulk discount!). No one at a big box store (like home depot) was able to help me with this, and I needed too many to be able to just find them at stores in my area.
These are my pots:
Then, I met with my friend (I’m sure the owner of a local farm stand could help you similarly) and chose three varieties of flowers that are in colors I wanted and would be well suited in these small pots. They grew them in their green house for me, and I am paying for them.
At the end of the night, each couple/family will bring a potted flower home as their favor!
Here is some inspiration that I used:
Overall, this was significantly cheaper than what most florists/venues charge for even 1 vase of flowers on each table (we were originally quoted $30-50 per table!). We paid about $2.50 per pot and very little for the flowers themselves. I’d say we spent about $15 per table, and don’t need to purchase additional favors.
Hope this helps!

Eiffel Tower vase = $4.99
Pomander ball – $1.25
Assorted Flowers – $5.00 (appx – prob less)
Candle Holders – $1.00 each
Candle Sticks – $0.25 each
Scrapbook paper as mat under centerpiece – $1.99
Light for vase – $0.85
Total for centerpieces I made – $15.33
(Note: I also bought 3 bottles of turquoise glass paint and painted all the vases/candle holders but that was just cents each since I had to do 18 tables like this).

Would a lantern on the charger work?

@AlleyWinterbride I love the first one! Did you spray paint the pot? I am planning on using Costco flowers for my bouquets 🙂
