Half the tables will be manzanita (blooms and branches $100 incl shipping for 12) in pots with some gems and candles.  Est total $22 each.  The other half will be silver charger plates (bought black Friday 80c each) with candles, estimated total $15 each table.

This is from my trial.. not the real candles esp not the rose shaped floater (also not sure if I’ll put rocks or something on the charger plate).  All will be ontop a navy runner.

@BreezyBride24:  Thank you!  It didn’t take long at all!  Once I figured out what size twig was needed for each vase height, it was just a matter of cutting them off of the stem & then I hot glued them to one of the rocks so they stay in place.

..bringing this thread back!

In the early planning stages still, but recently I calculated my current flower budget / estimated # of tables needed. Landed around $20 per table, so this thread is perfect for inspiration!

I’d love to see your $20 centerpieces, no matter the theme!

bbbria:  Gorgeous! I love the typography on the table number and menu.

I’m not looking for anything in particular, except to see what people were able to do with $20 or under 🙂

  • Wedding: March 2016 - Enoch Turner Schoolhouse

This is my centerpiece idea and I’m hoping it will look like this!

My venue is an Irish Heritage school, built in 1848 – Enoch Turner Schoolhouse

I have 15 tables and I plan to have 3 books per table.  I got ALL of my books for free from my Future Mother-In-Law – she happened to have vintage hardcover books just collecting dust in her shelves!  She even gave me round doilies (also for free) to go under the books just like the picture – all handmade and different patterns!

I also have over 20 teacups from a bridal shower I threw last year with matching saucers.  So happy I will get to use these again.

For numbers, I plan to use real green granny smith apples from the grocery store, buy 15 that will cost around .80 cents per apple.  Then insert vintage numbers (or make them myself) into the apple for table numbers.  Hoping to find them cheap at a crafstore or even dollar store?  I may even go the cheaper route and simply caligraph numbers on the apple with old-school type font.

For menus, I’m printing them myself on stock paper, and inserting them in the books right behind the hardcover 😉

The flowers will be from costco.  1 bouquet of cream hydrangeas is $11 that has 5-6 stems.  Each teacup with get 1 stem, cut very short so the flower is pretty much just sitting on top of the cup.

Since the books, doilies, and teacups aren’t costing me anything, the apples ($10-$15), numbers ($20), menu print outs ($10), and flowers ($35) I am anticipating to spend $7 per centerpiece 😀
