Fiance and I have been together for 8 years and we just got engaged this year. Fiance gave me a lovely heart shaped diamond ring when we were younger, and I adore it. I didn’t really call it a promise ring as I didn’t know about promise ring at that time. Anyway, I would love to see your e ring and promise ring together.
PLEASE POST A PIC OF YOUR E RING AND PROMISE RING TOGETHER (OR ANY OTHER RINGS THAT Fiance HAS GIVEN YOU)
I’ll go first π I just love the ring porn

I’ll play! My promise ring is actually a ‘pair ring’ and is common in Japan for teens and early 20s couples. It’s supposed to look like a wedding ring, but cheap and silver so it’s super scratched and dinged, poor thing π
@bun39: Your heart promise ring is SO pretty!!!

I don’t have my real ring yet, but here’s my promise ring and a ring I’m basing my custom ring off of.

I received a promise necklace instead. Two years ago for my birthday, my fiance (boyfriend at the time) gave me this lovely necklace. It’s a white gold love knot with a diamond in the centre. I still wear it everyday π

@bun39: I love your heart promise ring! Both of your rings are gorgeous :).
I don’t have a picture of my rings together/next to each other, but my promise ring, original ering, and my new “forever” ering are all heart themed. I would just take one of them together on my finger, but my hands (and whole body) are COVERED in bug bites…like, about 15 bites per hand. I’m SUPER swollen all over right now (and I’m loopy from Benadryl)!

^ My promise ring (cluster center). I was so young when he gave it to me, and it was my first ever piece of diamond jewelry. It has a ton of sentimental value and I still wear it on my right hand sometimes.

^ My original engagement ring.

My fingers look swollen and my nails need to be redone, but anyway… the top one is my promise ring.

Fun thread! I got a ring as a birthday gift, not so much a promise ring. It really wasn’t my style (soliraire in yellow gold) so I wore it until we got engaged. Afterwards I sold it to purchase a heart pendant instead, which I wear all the time π The yellow gold solitaire had no sentimental value to either of us, as we got engaged just a few weeks after my birthday. (I proposed!!) My engagement ring is totally me and I love it!!! I’m happier knowing the solitaire has a second life on someone else’s finger instead of living in a box at home π
Promise ring (0.33 ct):

Vintage-inspired engagement ring π The center stone is also 0.33, which I find kind of neat because it’s like my promise ring π

excuse the disgusting nail polish lol we weren’t expecting to try on rings that day! so the little ring on my ring finger was my promise ring (i was trying unsuccessfully to get the damn thing off, so my finger is swollen and the ring was like .75 size too small lol I guess that’s what happens when you put on weight and never take the ring off) We traded it in for my engagement ring which is the rose gold setting but with the center stone off the white gold ring
turned out like this:

They look kind of silly together because my promise ring is white gold and my wedding set is yellow. I always wear my promise ring on my right hand though, I don’t care about mixing metals π

@bun39: I fit under the “OR ANY OTHER RINGS THAT Fiance HAS GIVEN YOU” category. DH got me this matching topaz ring and necklace for my birthday the second year we were married.
