Hey Ladies!!! I need some help on this one. I have been looking at possible wedding bands to go with my platinum solitaire e-ring and actually tried on my mother’s original yellow gold band with it and loved it! My Fiance and I are a little old-fashioned in our tastes, and he, ironically, came home last night and said he was thinking of going completely in another direction with his wedding band (had originally been thinking platinum with some diamonds) and said he thinks he might now just want a plain yellow band himself with a second platinum band to wear stacked occasionally. Just so you know, I never mentioned to him that I had tried on my mom’s band and had fallen in love with it, so he had come to this idea all on his own!
Anyway, if any of you ladies out there have any mixed metal e-rings with wedding bands, I’d love to see them!!

I will sometimes wear my yellow gold ring alone. If not, its always all three.

My set is a mixture of yellow gold and rose gold. My hubby’s band is white gold and yellow gold with diamonds… I think any gold looks good together and the same with platinum. I too am old fashioned and I love my yellow gold… I try not to let trends set my expensive jewelry. I never stopped wearing my yellow gold.
