I feel ya. The girl I asked to be my Maid/Matron of Honor who I’d been friends with for years and years hasn’t said two words to me since I asked her….4 months ago. I’m not quite sure how to tell her I’m completely not interested in having her as my Maid/Matron of Honor if she can’t be bothered to even talk to me.

I don’t have any advice for ya, just commiserating!

Beats me! Such strange behaviour. Someone has suggested jealousy? Maybe they wish they were in our position. I’m not sure.

I live far away from where I grew up and I know when I come home for holidays I am stretched very thin. I feel so stressed out leaving my parents at all to hang out with friends b/c I don’t have that much time to begin with.

If I were you, I would be upset about it only if I had evidence she was making time for other friends over you. I don’t think any two friendships are alike, so if she feels more comfortable writing all over someone else’s wall on FB, so be it. But as long as she is making you a priority over other friends when she’s home I’d be fine with it. Also, she might be going through some tough times with a relationship and avoiding you since you’re in such a great place. Just a thought..

@Moderndaisy – so true. When I lived away from my hometown, it was always a struggle to find enough time to visit everyone. However, I think I’d definitely make time for someone I was going to be a Maid/Matron of Honor for or at least call to say I wouldn’t be able to find time. Just seems strange.
