I’m doing Weight Watchers, really works for me. There is a thread for bees doing WW floating around. Adding running intervals to your walks is a great way to increase the intensity of your workouts slowly, I reccomend it.

WW is a good program.

I would reccomend something with weight training or resistance training. Gaining muscle will also increase your metabolism! And dont be afraid of muscle. you wont gain bulk, you dont have enough testosterone. Muscle takes up less space than fat pound for pound so you can be the same weight and still lose size.

I think finding more intense workout DVDs now that you lost some weight would be in your best interest. Also switching up your routine. Your body can get used to an exercise routine so its important to “confuse” it

But MOST importantly is your diet…  Diet makes you look good in clothes, exercise makes you look good with out them 🙂 (and helps you maintain for life!)

I’m currently doing the medifast diet- I did it last year and it worked pretty well. I’m trying to get that last bit of weight off. Good luck and congrats on your weightloss already!

@maureen9004: When you lost the weight last year on this, did it stay off?

@lefeymw: I gained back 9 lbs but I DESERVED to gain back that weight (and more actually- I was an eating bad thing machine). I lost 30 lbs in 2-2.5 months. I don’t love the diet or the food, but it’s tolerable and works (it’s also fairly inexpensive- 200 dollars worth of food lasts me about 1.5 months).

my advice to anyone wantign to lose any amount of weight is to see a nutriotionist. it helped me to move past my plateau and its a lifestyle change that wasn’t too difficult to do because my nutritionist worked with my preferences and i am able to maintain it.
