I like your ring as is, I think the other setting would take it away and make it look flashy. The solitaire is so classy!

If anything I would just have it set on a pave band of the same thickness. I think it looks beautiful on you and I wouldn’t want to change it too much 🙂

I’d leave it alone until after your married because you may change your mind after adding a wedding band. If you still feel this way after that, then I’d consider changing the setting.

Hi. I don’t have a marquise stone, but I went from a solitaire setting to a pave band setting and I am so happy I did! It made me fall in love with my ring even more. My now husband wasn’t on board fully at first, but once he saw how it would look, he knew it was the right decision. Good luck!

lunamoon:  I absolutely love your ring.  Don’t touch it!!!  Love the idea of adding a couple bands, it will look amazing.

lunamoon:  I would shop around and perhaps if budget allows get a couple rings… I would get an eternity band to stack and then get a solitaire inhancer… Then you can switch up the look.

lunamoon:  I love your ring. Please don’t change it. Lol. I’m not a marquise fan but your ring is perfection. It is one of few marquise I’ve seen that I actually like. I had a marquise with round and baguette side stones from my previous marriage and I did not like it because I felt it was dated. Yours is classic and timeless. I think you should add a diamond wedding band if you feel like it needs more. But honestly it’s just gorgeous.

I loooove your ring. If anything I would just get a fancier wedding band to give you some of that extra I think you’re looking for.

Heres my marquise ring 🙂
