    My husband thinks that “bald” vaginas are a HUGE turn off. He has told me plenty of times that he finds a real woman sexy with a natural vaginal hair and all! (Lucky me 🙂 ) I must admit, I agree. I don’t like all this shave/stubble/waxing buisness and definitely don’t find bald vaginas attractive. In fact, they often look cold, bumpy (razor irritations etc), and awkward. Kind of like seeing a young head on an old body…something just looks off about it. Just my opinion.

    PERSONALLY, I like to keep things trimmed and tidy but I don’t shave often. Not a fan of the 10 year old girl look w/o any pubic hair, the cutesy “hearts etc” patches, or the nasty prickly hair that grows back after shaving.

    FYI: Your pubic hair wont absorb any “smells” if you practice good personal habits. Like showering daily and using wipes AND toilet paper. If your pubic hair retains smells…then you aren’t keeping it short enough and need to clean yourself a little better.

    I shave it all off. I prefer it and my boyfriend prefers it. I’ve never had any issues with irritation and I shave everyday- no bumps or redness. I tried a hair removal cream but it didn’t work for me or I’d probably do that. I don’t think I would ever wax just because you have to let it grow out to wax again and talk about painful! (and I’m not into strangers seeing my whoo-ha)

    I just try to trim it as short as I can get it. I’ve never had any complaints from my SO. I do find that my orgasms are also better when I have less hair.

    @Laurenskii:

    tmi warning:  I actually got a staph infection on my vulva from shaving.  I never even liked shaving I just did it because I thought guys expected it. Never again. That infection was the most excruciating pain I’ve ever experienced. Girls think pubic hair is gross?  Haha google staph infection. That is fucking gross. My skin peeled completely off, there was nothing but raw flesh on the entire right side. I couldnt sit, stand, walk, or sleep. I started contemplating suicide it was that painful. If it lasted longer than a week I dont know what I would’ve done. Thank god for drugs. My skin has never been quite the same as it was before. It dries out easily and looks kinda wrinkly on that side. I still trim the hair fairly short with an electric trimmer but I won’t bring a razor next to the sensitive skin there. It seems so foolish to me now.

    I mostly trim because of time/money constrants but every now and again I like to treat myself to a brazilian or I make a ‘date’ with my epilady (it’s like an electric tweezer, rips out lots of hairs at the root all at once).
