Ashley19881 :  I think that is a great idea to play up the warmth like other’s have stated.  Changing the center bezel seems like the best way to do that. Mixed are also in fashion right now too.

I don’t think the difference is noticeable at all, at least not in these photos, so I voted no.

I have a warmer diamond with white diamonds in the band and I LOVE it. I think you should keep the contrast.

I have a slightly warmer central diamond set in rose gold to enhance a pinky look. To me having the contrast between the halo/shoulder diamonds set in platinum and the main diamond in rose gold makes it look even more ‘floral’.

I think your set is really beautiful, and I must not be very color sensitive, as I can’t seem to tell a difference at all! 😊

Ashley19881 :  Honestly, I still don’t see much of a difference. Your set is beautiful in all the pictures.  It’s totally possible that like PP my eyes just aren’t as sensitive to the color difference. It’s also possible that you notice it because you see it every day and are seeing it close up. I also notice little things with my e-ring that no one else seems to see, so I totally get it.

    Ashley19881 :  hello! Wow thanks so much!! That means a lot. I don’t mind at all- it’s  a j colour, clarity vvs2.

Unfortunately  I haven’t seen the stone outside of its setting, most of the time it looks as white as the surrounding diamonds. In certain lights it shows up more as a creamy pink rather than yellow as shown below (definitely down to the setting) . I’m thinking  my stone has a very very pale brown tint rather than yellow.
I thinl that any type of warmer diamond would work so well in a setting like mine- really set off the feminine floral vibe 🙂

So sorry I couldn’t be of more help!
