I can’t wait to see all the buttery beauties on this thread. I just love warm diamonds, they are so romantic! I have an L colored 1.74 carat round brilliant that is currently being reset.  I am having a custom setting made with a rose gold cup to enhance the warmth and a white gold petite cushion double halo for contrast. I can’t wait till it’s done!!!

Here’s a not so great pic of it in its previous temporary setting.

This is my Momma’s K, excellent cut, VS1.  Its literally the MOST beautiful diamond I have ever seen soooo, much fire… flashes of dark purples, intense reds and vibrant oranges, its incredible. Something you can only appreciate in person! Pictures do NOT do it jusice. In the right lighting it looks like disco ball. πŸ™‚ love warm diamonds.

meliamartinez31 :  cleaning it definitely does wonders. I was shocked at how sparkly a diamond can get with a good cleaning. Your ring is STUNNING!!!!!

I don’t have this diamond anymore but it was graded as a J. I think it looks warmer than a J

I have an EGL L, but I think it’s more N-ish. It looks like a different ring in different lighting conditions, but that’s one of the things I love about it!

Mine has three I color diamonds, but they’re set in yellow gold with yellow gold prongs, so they can look much warmer. The first picture is how it normally looks, and the second picture is a picture showing the warmest that they could possibly face. At first I didn’t like the way the yellow gold effected the diamonds, but now I’m obsessed with the moodiness!
