Love the pictures! Mine’s M, so not quite as warm as you’re looking at, but I do love warm diamonds!

I love, love, LOVE warmer diamonds! Mine is a K… and, in my opinion, it could stand to be more yellow. I only see the “yellow” in it in certain lights.

See… you can’t see the color here at all:

Hi! I have a champagne diamond with a white halo set in yellow gold! I LOVE it and love the color. when I tried on white diamonds, I just didn’t like how they looked with my skin tone. I love the warmth of my ring! And it looks different in different light. Here’s a couple of pics!

I love warm diamonds! I think they are a bit more special than stark white ones, because to me, things from the earth are “warm.” 🙂

Old World Diamonds, Jewels by Erica Grace, and Engagement Rings Direct all have some amazing old cuts in warmer colours.  🙂

@coffeeeeee:  Goooorgeous!! I originally wanted a rose gold setting with halo, eventually went with unplated white gold, so it’s sort of between white and yellow. I’ll probably get rose and yellow bands, though, to compliment. Anyway, I absolutely looove the color of your stone, just beautiful.

@Havaneseluv:  You’re so sweet! All the looking around before purchasing the ring definitely helped me narrow in on something a little different. Moissanites are beautiful from what I’ve seen online, would love to see one is person. Don’t forget to show us!

Wow. This thread really opens my mind to a new possibility. I have a moissanite e-ring right now, but I really have my heart set on a diamond (my DH said once we got married we would switch out the centre stone). Well, after looking at the price of a 1.36 carat princess cut diamond, we put this idea on hold. But all the diamonds I have been seeing online are a J or K at most. I never see anything warmer. My moissanite has a warm look to it, which I love. I will have to see what I can find, maybe looking at the m-n range and see if I can get a deal!

@claireos: um, i love your ring sooo much. i think yours was the first yellow diamond i saw and i was like !!!!!!! plus i love your mismatched set!

I went to get my ring appraised recently (for ring insurance) and the jeweler was oohing and awing over the clarity and design of my ring but he was almost apologetic when he told me that it was an M color! Like “oh im sorry that it’s actually not a colorless stone…” And i was like “yeah, that was on purpose!!” I think colorless diamonds are beautiful, but it’s crazy how much people think they are the ONLY thing to get. I guess we reap in the benefits when we buy our warm diamonds for so much less!!

Mine is an “M”.  I wasn’t necessarily going for a warmer colored diamond, but it was my grandmother’s stone, so we were just grateful to have it!  The cut and clarity are really great, though, so it’s hard to tell it has warmth to it most of the time.

You can tell in the bottom picture, but not the top as much, mostly because of the lighting.

@claireos:  I know, right?! I’m so stingy… lol. Zomg!! That one with the amethyst halo… *LOVE* I hadn’t seen that one on there! It is amazing!!

I’m working towards getting the $85K Lang ring recreated by Schubach’s, but using a 9mm OEC moissanite, either unenhanced or with their beautiful Barely Pink color. It will be a RHR, but I won’t be able to start working on it till later next year, boo. One day, one day.

@Karie:  These stones are all in the L-M range, just for reference. This is my stone (M) next to my previous stone (E). ETA: That’s my guy’s hand…not mine lol
