I also have a J and love mine, most of the time it looks white but sometimes under certain lighting it is warmer and I love it. Gorgeous ring by the way๐Ÿ˜

I think it comes down to personal preference , I think it’s important to love your ring … I don’t wear any jewelry except for my wedding set, all my stones are from Costco and they all are rated I, I personally adore them, I love a tinge of warmth in my stones.

That is beautiful! I don’t love the icy look from personal preference. I agree with a PP though I was surprised that was a J! Is that on the GIA scale?

Ahh it’s so warm and pretty!!! I adore your ring!

I understand that the ideal color is near colorless, but for me personally, it’s the least important quality in a diamond out of all of the “c’s”. So I say rock it!

abbeyrachel326 :  Your ring is stunning! WOW! I am not usually a fan of halos but I literally gasped when I saw it. The contrast between the center stone and the halo highlights the beauty of your ring. I think the rose gold and the warmer stone looks romantic and dreamy.

As a personal preference, I don’t really like icy colorless stones. I can see how if that is your preference yours could take some adjusting too. Maybe take some time with it to think about if you can love it. If not, you wouldn’t be the first person to change their e-ring. You could sell it and try to get a lab diamond or something pre-owned. But if you decide that you can love it? Rest assured your e-ring is absolutely gorgeous.

Wow! That is gorgeous, bee!!

Who graded the stone? I have a K and it looks way warmer than mine, but wow… it’s a beautiful ring!

That is an amazing stone. I don’t know if it my monitor but there almost seems a tinge of warm pink to the stone itself, not just a reflection off the rose gold. Gorgeous! That substantial halo really works. Lucky lady!

That is gorgeous!! Your Fiance did a bang up job!! Here’s my J. As a pp said, I couldn’t have had it (this size) at a D! And I also have rose gold!

I mean yeah you can tell the stone is a warm color BUT it goes beautifully with the rose gold band!  Really lovely ring. Congratulations!

My stone is a 2ct I in platinum and I LOVE that it looks different in different lighting! Your ring is gorgeous. Color DOES show more in fancy cuts than in rounds, hence why you’re likely seeing the color a bit more than the people with I/J/K rounds do. I always knew I wanted a warmer diamond – the icy color of D/E/F’s just looks cold to me.
