Warmer colored pears and marquise can look “dirty” at the tips. Yours is gorgeous though! No worries there! Congratulations to you. It’s beautiful!

They definitely have personality it never looks the same always casting a little light show. I just wish I did more research I would I have added a few different touches. It was custom made by Hannoush jewelers its based in upstate NY its a smaller company they have their main store in Albany NY and one additional one in Clifton park NY.
But your new one is absolutely beautiful! Very excited for you😍
Yes I’ve noticed that in them! I do love it I’m just trying to love its warmth better… I blame the media and the constant uplifting of colorless diamonds and I’m a Virgo so Lil details drive me nuts… I don’t buy into astrology completely but some personality traits seem to naturally apply unfortunately lol
Here’s my L color oval diamond, the side stones are E-F color set in white gold as I wanted contrast. I absolutely love warm diamonds 🙂
I’m getting used to the contrast . for me I didn’t do my color research and I was focused on the cut and clarity that I ignored the color even tho I was told by the jeweler I was to excited about creating it that I thought it would not show as much .. So it has become something to get used to.. But yours looks like a perfect flower cause of the lovely oval shape🌼
I have a K color, 1.38 VS2 center, with H-I colored diamonds in the pavè of th e-ring and band for a ctw of 2.14 in the whole set. We purchased my set from an estate collection at a private jeweler, and we liked the ring just the way it was! I know the Fiance would have liked to be in the H-I range for the center stone color, but the diamond performs very well and faces up very white for the most part, with most of the faint color showing up on the sides and bottom of the stone in certain lights. We do plan on upgrading my stone in the future, as we both want a ring in the 2+ carat range for the center stone, so another reason why the color wasn’t a big deal since the rest of the specs were good. It does bother me when I see the color, but luckily, in an every day setting where others would see it like at work, the lighting is just right where it doesn’t bring out the faint yellow, so others looking at my ring wouldn’t notice the warmth.
Here’s some shots of it, but I do like the colors it throws and picks up. I also have one of those phone cases with the rose gold flakes on it, so sometimes the stone picks up the color of the flakes as well:
Side-by-side next to a 1.5 ct, H VS1 I recently got to borrow for work with the H color on the left and top in the photos below:
Finally got my ring last night!! Its a 1.32 ct elongated cushion, L color, VS1 excellent cut, set in 14k rose gold. The sides are G-H but I haven’t noticed any contrast.
