MrsSparkleBee13 :  I thought of your ring when I read the title. I’m so glad you showed up with your lovely, warm diamond ring. By The Way your ring is the one that showed me that a diamond doesn’t have to be colorless to be beautiful. I want one.

Thank you! Here are a couple crappy photos in a sunny room. I’ll take more when I’m not so hung over from champagne… #engagementproblems

sarahadams90 :  That ring is ga ga gorgeous! I see warmth, but not yellow. IMO if someone calls your diamond a “yellow diamond” (we don’t know what the connotation/denotation inferred) take it as a compliment-those things are pretty and pricey. Hello! 😉

sarahadams90 :  This is my old mine cut diamond – 0.77 carats, R-S colour, VS1 clarity, excellent cut. I inherited it – it’s from Europe – about 150 years old.

sarahadams90 :  Your ring is really beautiful! I love the setting and the center diamond does not look noticeably warm to me. It’s probably not noticeable except under certain lighting and if someone was looking very closely at it.

My ring has a K color center 2.75 ct with pave halo and band for total ct weight a bit over 3.0 where the pave stones are a bit lighter color grade but I don’t remember exactly what. Since I have fairly large hands (ring size 7.75) I liked the look of a larger center stone and I was fine with compromising a bit on color.  Most of the time it looks colorless to me except under certain lighting but I am never bothered by the color.  I have never regretted going with the warmer color stone and love wearing my ring every day, so hopefully you love yours too!
