Do you have any examples of the songs?  Sorry, I am tech-challenged so I am not familiar with the songs.

I can see all of them working well.  I think the zelda being up beat and dramatic and I think would work great as a recessional.

As an owner of the Ocarina of Time soundtrack, I find nothing wrong with using the music for a recessional. It’s actually quite beautiful In My Humble Opinion 🙂

Would it be something like this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GhE7smaH50Q

I think that sounds really nice.

ETA: Ha, I don’t think that is the right song. I’ve never played the game, don’t mind me! I think your choices would be good though. I’m using a song from Lord of the Rings for my processional.

I think that sounds awesome! Have fun with it. 🙂 Then again, I’m biased: my Fiance has been a huge fan of the Fallout series since the first computer game was released, so we’re going to use music from that in our playlist (“A Kiss to Build a Dream On” by Louis Armstrong, for one). And if my mother hadn’t been so horrified, I would totally use the Imperial March to stomp my way down the aisle, haha!

No shame in the nerdy game! The more “you” your wedding is, the happier you’ll be with it.

I love the Chrono Trigger and FFVII songs.  The Zelda one seems a little off for a wedding though.  What other Zelda games have you played?  I know you haven’t played OoT, but what about the newer ones?  Or just the older ones?  Let me know and I’ll pick the Fi brain.

I know I want to use the FF Victory Fanfare for when the Mr and I kiss.

SO’s sister and Brother-In-Law had their string quartet play that as their recessional song! It was awesome. Go for it.

I know someone who used the Victory song when they were announced husband and wife!

OMG. That is probably the awesomest thing I’ve read in an entire week!

WOW wow! We are doing Far Off Promise http://youtu.be/lfiW6dGx6KQ for our recessional. We decided right when we started dating. I say do it!

The nice thing about those songs is that they loop, you really don’t need a different song for the bridal party and yourself going down the aisle, eh. Maybe just two different ones, processional, recessional.

Maybe my walk down the aisle should be Forever Rachel FFVI (http://youtu.be/tHdhjEkBS-Y for those not in the know) haven’t decided yet! Maybe it should be Lucca’s theme.

I am so excited about this thread! Hahaha. Glad others are as nerdy/crazy as we are. Too bad Kirby music doesn’t fit better for weddings, lol.
