Hello brides-to be! I wanted to share about my recent experience with Williams-Sonoma’s “Customer Service”, in the hopes that I may save some of you from post-wedding headaches!
I have been batteling with Williams-Sonoma for months over a return that I was not creidited for (because thier service rep CANCELLED the order, rather than returning it to issue me a credit).
I have made over 10 calls to them and the last 3 times they have actually been LYING to me and telling me there is a gift card on the way. LYING!!!
My guests purchased THOUSANDS of dollars worth of gifts for us thru Williams-Sonoma. You can imagine how frustrating it would be to have a guest purchase you an expensive item from your registry, send a thank you card to them, and then not recieve the gift OR the credit!
Aside from that, the overall online/call center service was very impersonal and disorganized throughout the entire registry experience.
At this point I have given up on recieving the credit. I have just vowed NEVER to shop from that horrid company again and to let other brides know that they should definately register elsewhere!
On the positive side, I did have a fabulous registry experience with Bloomingdales and Bed, Bath and Beyond.
