Ooh, the Hunter would be FABULOUS! We were thiiiiiiiis close to booking a venue there, but people were being difficult with travelling, so stuck to Sydney instead. 🙁

I’ve never seen natives used in the decor before – but I think it’d look gorgeous, especially somewhere as beautiful as the HV! Not hokey at all.

I don’t think natives would be hokey at all. I found a few photos, and I think these look gorgeous!

what a good idea. Yes I ahve been to a wedding where they had natives.. they didnt use them as centrepieces but they had it for the bouquets, buttonaires, and lining the aisle. 🙂 it looked quite nice!

I agree – those centrepieces in Photo #3 look FABULOUS. Thanks for the recommendation – I would love to take my girls to the Hunter as a change for the usual ‘hens’ day out/night out!

@ScarletBegonia: Haha.. that sounds brilliant! I am bookmarking your venue, since they sound like a great place to visit. 😀

I don’t know if you’re still looking for some pics, but I came across a picture of a girl I used to work with who had natives mixed in with roses.
