Do you have a plastic bag that you can double or triple wrap them in? Then put in a tote bag until you get inside the post office?

oh my gosh, the same thing happened to me when we sent out our invites.  I put them in 3 or 4 baggies and they managed to make it to the post office dry!

I’d wait. I did the calligraphy on my daughter’s invites and the day after they were mailed,it rained. Several of the addresses were ruined as the envelopes got soaked too. Thankfully they were all delivered, but some were pretty messy. Check your forecast not only for the day of mailing but also for several days after…wish I had. I would have waited. Frown

@Lees – I had to mail my invitations out in the rain. It made me so sad. πŸ™ The envelopes, even though they never got wet, were all damp and wrinkly. πŸ™

Not something I’d ever thought about, but now I totally just checked the weather report for this week.  I’m planning to mail mine tomorrow.  Looks like it’ll be dry here tomorrow, Saturday, rain Sunday, but dry on Monday.  Perfect!

Most of our invites are out of town… but that still stinks. I’d want them OUT OUT OUT if I had them.

I live in central Florida and it poured this morning but not it is beautiful. Although, I just about got knocked in over by the wind this afternoon coming into work!
