Many will say there is no such thing as love at first sight, however, I do. I first time I saw my fiance before we even spoke a feeling I never had came over me and I just knew that I would marry him someday. I know it doesn’t always or usually happen that way but did it for anyone else?

For me it wasn’t, because I felt that he was a very good friend that I could confide in, but he swears with me it was. He noticed me way before I noticed him, and there was indeed an immediate attraction. 🙂

OMG Yes! My knees buckled when I fisrt saw him. I would have been the first person in line to say that it didn’t exist….that is until it happened to me!
Thanks for bringing this topic up….it made me feel all warm and fuzzy =)

Yes, it was love at first sight. Like you, this feeling came over me, and I just knew. The feeling is really hard to explain to someone that hasn’t experience, but I still get that feeling with him on a daily basis, even after being together for 10 years. I never really knew what true love was until I met my Fiance.

100% I swear I still swoon everytime I see him =)

Maybe lust at first sight! My Fiance and I both thought we were too good for each other and we are both SUPER shy so we became close friends. But I had a feeling he was going to be the man I was going to marry.

yeah I know what you mean when you say it’s hard to explain that feeling to someone else…I stoped telling people that because everytime I did they just gave me a weird look and said you mean you had “lust at first sight” and that it’s not possiable to know the first time you meet. It’s nice to know other people had the same feeling

Yessss! The first time I saw him I swooned. I am normally shy when I meet new people but there was just something about him. I was able to talk and open up like I never had before on a first date. I went on a trip with my friends the day after meeting him and I told one of them that I was going to marry him… only 7 weeks until that statement is true!

i officially met him in highschool. there was nothing. he left, i forgot about him, the end.
except not. half a year later i met him at a conference, didn’t remember his name, and yet i just knew that there was something. that we would be getting married, that probably didn’t cross my mind, but i had to meet him.

Nope. Don’t believe in it! i believe in infatuation and lust at first sight though!
Neither of which was my first impression of Darling Husband =]

The first words my hubby spoke to me were “So are we getting married now or waiting a while?”. Literally. :]

More like love at first conversation.

Neither Fiance nor I believe in love at first sight, but we’ve had a very difficult time figuring out how else to describe the way we fell in love. We recently participated in a relationship study in which we were interviewed separately about the decision-making process that went into our becoming engaged, and he told me afterward that he had a very hard time when he was asked to draw a graph representing our “Likelihood of Getting Married” as it changed over the course of our relationship. He said it was 100% for him from the day he met me – and he wasn’t even trying to be sappy; I know, because he doesn’t play that game. 🙂 I’m still kind of in awe of our relationship when I think about it too much.
