@bee1804:  Killer dress! I think it’s the best of both worlds between vintage-esque, and also light and flowy,

@mrsem2bee:  That is so feminine and amazing! I wish I could try it on just for kicks! 😛 What the brand and all that good stuff if you don’t mine me asking?

The sherbet Lazaro.

I gasped when I saw it SYTTD for the first time. I never did get to try it on (probably for the best, since the dress alone costs almost as much as our entire wedding) but I still love it.

This is what I ended up with.

@_Adelaide_:  Yeah, that’s where I got my dress.  I went in twice.  The first time I saw an older lady (light hair) who scolded me when I complained to my Mother-In-Law about the sample size being an 8 (Come on, 8?  I’m not *that* big and I could barely squeeze into it), and the second was a nice older lady who said “I’m brutal with the dresses” and managed to get me zipped up for a picture (lol!)

There is a guy who works there… I forget his name, but he is AWESOME.  He called me after I left town to make sure that I ordered the right dress size.  The ladies were pushing me to order a 10 but I was afraid I would lose too much weight and it would ruin the dress when it was altered (I’m busty and everyone was convinced that my boobs wouldn’t change, but I knew better).  He said he could tell by my face that I wasn’t making the right decision and told me about the differences in the cups on each size, and how many sizes up or down my dress could be altered.  Good thing too, because I never would have asked them to change the size if it were just up to me to think about.  I’ve only dropped 10 lbs, I’m already swimming in the 8, so lucky I didn’t order the 10!

I never had a “dream dress” exactly, but I always loved lace dresses. However, I bought a dress with pick ups! And I hate pick ups! I’ve had some second thoughts, but I know I will be happy with my dress on our wedding day. I hope you find the answers you are looking for 🙂

@Junip3r:  was it the guy a little bit younger? was he a consultant, or did he process your order? because the guy that i dealt with helped me with payment, and he was super nice. i’m glad he called to follow up with you.

i found the sample sizes fit me perfectly, but i’m not even remotely ‘big’, just super tall. I couldn’t imagine a regular sized girl fitting in to them. but it worked well for me – i bought the sample, a size 8.

I must admit that I didnt have dreams of getting married to be honest I know it doesnt sound truthful but I didnt think about at all.

So when I met my Fiance he was the only man I even though about marrying and when it came time to plan and dress shop. I had no clue and decided to have my dress made because I wasnt happy with the selections that were being offered.

I always thought I’d end up with all over lace and cap sleeves, but I ended up with strapless, sweetheart, and tulle – no lace. The only thing that stayed the same was the fit and flare shape. I don’t miss any of the things I thought I HAD to have when I’m in my dress! 🙂

Yes. It was exactly what I wanted and had imagined. I just never thought I could wear something like it.
