    Nope. Were picking it together. Though I AM surprised that I like a band on either side of the Engagement Ring, I didnt think I would!

    Fiance bought the matching band when he bought my engagement ring and they were both surprises.

    When Fiance bought my Engagement Ring it came with the matching band and it was a total surprise as well, loved them both!

    I pretty much picked it out, and he agreed and bought it, so I said together =). We picked his out together, but he had the final say.

    He had it in mind that we would just have the matching band for my e-ring made, and I agreed with that.  I did try different rings to see if I would like the mismatched look, but I prefered the matching one.

    We went & picked it out together. I picked the one I liked from the store & had one picked out from online. So I tried the one on in the store & kept asking hubby what he thought & he couldn’t decide either. But thought they looked good together. So we went with that one. I was to nervous to buy online without trying it on first. 😛 Needless to say I love it! 🙂

    We haven’t ordered it yet, but I have picked out my own wedding band. My fiance is wonderful man, but gifts are not his forte lol. So I wasn’t about to leave the band up to him. Plus I am a control freak with OCD and am ALL about proportions. He wouldn’t know what pointers to get to compliment the carat size of my stone! haha

    I picked my own band, which was fun. It doesn’t match my ering at all (which Fiance chose) & I love seeing them together because both rings represent each of us & our tastes, both coming together to make my perfect set Smile

    I showed him an engagement setting that I liked a year ago, and then nothing much happened for a long time after that. Last month, he surprised me with that very same setting, and the matching band to go with it. So I kind of picked them both out, but they were also both a surprise! Haha.

    We haven’t ordered it yet, but mine will have to be custom made, and we will go together to get it done, so no, its not a surprise.
