You’re right, they’re not supposed to be washed too often.  They should be hand washed and hung to dry after a few wears.

    Totally normal behavior.
I have enough bras that I usually only wash them all like once a month. To keep them lasting long, the most important thing is to not wear the same one two days in a row and to hand wash them

I picked every other week because I don’t do the laundry weekly. I have A LOT of clothes. As such, I’m not wearing bras for like 5+ times as I do have a number of those too.

I handwash mine and hang them at the end of the week. Everytime I do it, I feel like Carrie from SATC haha

It is definitely NOT the same as wearing the same underpants, for obvious reasons.

I wear mine a few times before washing. More frequently in the summer.

I totally remember a few years ago in college when a friend of mine called me to go bra shopping with her. On our way to the store she told me that she had been wearing this bra for 3 years and NEVER washed it!!! She is really not a dirty person, so I was shocked and it still makes me laugh when I think about it. She said she knew it had to be done and was overdue, so she decided just to go buy some new ones instead.

I wash mine once a week and feel like that’s not enough. But then again, I only have two. It’s really hard to find bras in my size and they are expensive when you can’t just get a $15 bra from target or H&M!

My husband cracks up because I have them hanging on all the doorknobs lol. I wear mine for a week, then hand wash it. It’s so different from underwear in my opinion!

I wash them after I’ve worn them ~10 times, but way more in the summer – they only get 1 or 2 wearings then.

Once a week or after a few wears normally, but I have a problem with my new VS Fabulous bra. It smells bad after one wear and I think it’s the material in the padding. I only get one wear before washing.

Sports bras get washed after one wear.
