Darling Husband and I just purchased a new washer and dryer with the steam option this past weekend.  We are closing on our house in a couple weeks so needless to say we haven’t used it yet! Hoenstly, there was an amazing sale this past weekend which convinced us to buy them.  I have friends who say they use the steam function all the time and love it, and others who don’t use it as much.  I decided that it was something I would probably use, and since I hope to have these for a while, I would rather get the options I wanted rather than wonder if I should have just done it.

Sorry I can’t really help more, I just thought I would share that I am going through the same process!

If you use it, it’s awesome! But it all depends on if you use it a lot or not… I like mine for steaming dresses because I absolutely hate ironing, or for freshening up clothes that don’t need to be washed yet. It won’t replace dry cleaning.

When we got a new dryer, I was so excited it had a steam option! But I have to say.. I haven’t even used it once in the past year. I do like that it’s there though, just incase I want to use it. Although ours does have a seperate “sanitize” cycle that we do use.

If I had the opportunity to get it I think I would.  We would definitely make use of it.  If you can swing it, I say go for it.

Yes, yes, yes I LOVE it. You can throw something in there for 10 minutes and have your clothes completely de-wrinkled. You can use it for deep clean cycles (gets rid of any mildew smell, great for other dirty things like towels, guest bedding, etc.).

I use this feature all the time and would be really sad if I didn’t have it.
