I used to work for Whirlpool/Maytag and I’m a huge advocate of their products.  I prefer Maytag because they use commercial grade parts.  Their products last about 10 – 15 years on average.  They’re manufactured in the US, which means that if you need a repair, it’s a little easier to get the parts.  It’s been about a year since Iworked for them, so I’m not up on all the latest features, but when I was there they had some really cool stuff to offer.

I have the Electrolux washer and dryer with wavetouch technology and perfect steam option…I love it! you can wash and dry a load in 30 min! Plus, it’s insanely quiet.  It’s pricier than most brands but it has so many more options. Plus, I love the red mine is in…here’s a link if you are interested…

We have an LG washer and dryer, and we love both! They’re both pretty quiet and they weren’t as expesive as most of the front loaders were since we got them over Labor Day weekend.

We’ve had them over a year now and no problems! My husband laughs at me b/c he thinks I’m obsessed with them. And I am! After having an apartment sized washer/dryer, it’s like heaven going to a front loader!

We just bought a Kenmore Elite Washer and Dryer and are very happy with it. The model of Kenmore Elite washer and dryer we have is made by LG.

I also have the Samsung Steam Washer/Dryers.  We have had them for over a year now and we really love them.  We haven’t had any issue with “smell” in the washer and the steam feature works really great!
