Yuck! I have to wash my hands after I get done with the restroom no matter what. It just makes me feel icky when I don’t. What I hate is where some public restrooms, their hot water takes a while to even get warm. Can’t stand washing my hands under cold water.

I always wash and in fact, I carry soap leaves in case there isn’t soap. I use a paper towel to get out.

I hate germs and don’t particularly like touching other people.

Apparently I’ve been terrified of public restrooms since the age of four. We were going to the beach and stopped at a rest station. I walked into a stall, saw Lord knows what, walked right back out, and have been avoiding public restrooms ever since.

So, yeah, I always wash my hands/wipe the seat/etc., including at home.

Hahah.. in my line of work, I find the results of this poll to be scary (and not-that-surprising). People, please wash your hands. 😀

I have actually never seen anyone not wash their hands in public :/

I am actually highly allergic to most generic bathroom soaps so I carry my own around. I look like a germafreak but its better than getting hives!

In my line of work, I have to wash my hands like 30+ times throughout the day (including after using the restroom of course)!

I use sanitizer if there’s no soap in the bathroom and always keep some in my purse! I was raised that it wasn’t important to wash your hands though, so it wasn’t until i got a little older that I realized it was gross to not wash your hands after going potty. Now i’m mortified by the concept.

Sometimes if the bathroom doesn’t have automatic soap/water/paper dispensers and I would end up touching 3 more things in order to wash my hands then I will skip it and use hand sanitizer that I carry.

This is probably one of my biggest pet peeves.  When people DON’T wash their hands, or just quickly rinse.  It grosses the hell out of me, I have an aunt that does this and it’s seriously nasty.

Wow. It’s  pretty disturbing to see how many don’t wash their hands. That’s one of the fastest ways to spread germs and disease. I don’t get it.

Washing every single time. And people who don’t, they are not just leaving germs behind, but they are also opening themselves up to receive pink eye and other diseases.

I’m an ICU RN.  Washing my hands is like breathing.  I don’t even think about it, I just do it.
