We are having one – I’d forgotten that it is included in the package we have. I guess the advantage is that one can follow my morning/getting ready/going to venue etc and the other can be with Fiance. Then, we can have the shots from both ends of the aisle when I go in!

YES!!  My photographer added one at the last minute for no extra charge.  THANK GOD!  He actually took better pictures than she did (she was a bit of a disaster).  If you have a good size wedding party or lots of family, this is really important for moving the pictures along.

We LOVED having two photographers. We ended up with an incredible variety of styles and shots, and we have some really great captures of certain moments in the ceremony at different angles which wouldn’t have been possible with just one photog.

Yes I was so happy to have two! Some of the photos from my second shooter are better than some of the main photog’s photos. Not to say he wasn’t awesome too but they both just have a little different styles. I was so happy to have both!

I wish I would’ve had two.  The second shooter gets a lot of the candid shots and you get more angles on the important stuff like ceremony.

Loved having 2 for lots of different reasons. First off one with me and one with Darling Husband when we were getting ready. I love the pictures on each side of when we exchanged gifts.  It was also awesome to have closeups of me and my dad walking down the aisle and close ups of DH’s face watching me walk down the aisle. Two of my favorite pics are actually at the same time, one by one shooter and one by the other. Totally worth it.

As a photographer myself, I’d definitely recommend two photographers. There’s so many things that can come up and cause one photographer for whatever reason to miss the shot, you know the one you can’t live without. It also allows for two viewpoints throughout the day so you get more variety in the shots, not to mention different creative styles. It makes it easier to move between various groups for any formal shots. Think having two cattle ropers rather than one gets them roped in a lot quicker, it’s along the same lines. It also helps in getting any prewedding shots accomplished. One photographer can be with the groom and his men and get all of their shots done while the other is with the bride and getting her shots done. Then you only have the ones where the bride and groom are together to get after the ceremony cutting down on the amount of time taken.

To shorten the answer…yes it is definitely worth it. As a photographer, I wouldn’t want to shoot a wedding without a second and I definitely wouldn’t hire a photographer without a second.

We had a second shooter included in our package, and it was great.  He took pictures with the boys while the main photographer got pictures of the girls getting ready.  Also, the second shooter was free to climb things and sneak around and get really cool shots, while the main photog was getting the mainstay images.  Actually, we did a post-rehearsal swim, and the second shooter even got in a kayak to get better pictures from the water!  I mean, he went so above and beyond, and we were thrilled to have two shooters.

Yes and I am happy we did! While the main photographe was busy getting shots, she was getting all the details. When we did our first look, we were able to get a picture of both of our faces at the same time and it was priceless.

I am kind of shocked that this isn’t included. I’ve NEVER shot without a second shooter. I need to cover my own butt but it also allows for so much more to be photographed.
