Has anyone used them? Here’s a link to check it out:
I’m just wondering if they work as well as the claim is, I’m doing a fish bowl with bear grass in it along the edges and a floating gerbera daisy in the middle. I thought adding one of these would be a neat effect – instead of putting votives on the tabels as well…..
Here’s an idea of the centerpiece, note I will not be using calla lily’s – just bear grass, which is similar to the green lining it.

I haven’t tried this particular ones but I have used submersible floralytes and they do not provide much light. It gave it a ‘warm glow’ – we put a candle beside it and the candle gave off much more light.

I was figureing it woulnd’t shine very bright. I don’t want it to light up the whole table, just sort of give it a nice effect. We’re going to have votives on the table as well.
Did you get a neat effect from it at least or do you think it would have been just as good with out it? I found cheaper ones on the same site that arn’t diamond shaped, but round chips of sorts that will be less noticable.

The round chip ones are submersible floralytes – if you do a search for that you might be able to find them somewhere cheaper.
It gave a nice effect, I didn’t try it with candles but if you have candles around it, the glow might not be big enough to be noticeable.
I guess if you don’t have high expectations, they’ll be fine. It’s just me wanting the perfect product *blushing* that caused my dissapointment.
