Has anyone made custom labels for water bottles and used them? I have seen several people make them and I just love them. I just had a question for someone who has used these… when you put them in ice, will the ink run and ruin your design and paper? What do you use to prevent this? Thanks for the help!

Good question! I know they have waterproof Avery labels. However, I wanted to use our wedding paper, so I’m curious to read people’s comments. 🙂

We labeled the bottles that went in the Out of Town bags, but not all the ones for the reception. You can buy waterproof paper for both laser printers and ink jet printers. It is used typically for maps, but since it comes in standard 8.5×11 sheets I think it would be perfect for waterbottles! I looked to buy it in a few stores (staples, etc.) but couldn’t find it. There are a few places that sell it online.

There have been a bunch of bee posts about these plus board posts. I copied a few below. I think gloss is right on though, just do the waterproof paper, or even do labels! that should help the ink running! 🙂
