Do you normally have a high caffeine intake? It could be lack of caffeine in your system or it could mean that your blood sugar is starting to get low. I know that if I don’t eat, I get a really bad headache and throw up because there is too much acid in my stomach.

Okay, my aunt is a doctor and one time when I was very little, I was throwing up so much that eventually it turned into green vomit. My mom got really freaked out and called my aunt.

My aunt (the dr.) said that green throw up is bile, which is what is at the “end” of your intestines before they turn into poop. She said that if the vomiting continued for more than a few hours, I’d have to go to the hospital to get IV nutrition because I literally had nothing in my stomach to keep my body functioning (and fighting the virus that made me sick in the first place).

You need to eat. Like. NOW.

This “fast” sounds extremely dangerous.

@stepchild:  why are you fasting for so long? And did you talk to a doctor first?

Why are you on a water fast? Does that mean you’re not eating or drinking anything other than water?

(I’ve just spotted that this was from five days ago, I really hope you’ve started eating now!)

This is the result of your body dexoting. I am also very interested in finding out if you did any research before doing this.

This thread is concerning. I hope you are eating by now. I am too interested, why are you doing this? You must be starving, I go a couple hours without food and I am a monster!

@hiheel:

This is not “detoxing”.  She’s starving herself and she’s puking up bile.  Hopefully she got some immediate medical attention for this.

The green “vomit” is actually bile. It is unhealthy to be vomiting up this liquid! What on earth are you doing?! Whatever it is, you need to stop immediately and SLOWLY get some healthy food into your stomach.

This sounds scary. Please, eat something. Salty crackers would be good (if you’re really drinking just water you also need to restore electrolyte balance).

By the way, I am a health nut and I am very confident we do not need to fast in order to “detox” our bodies. Now a little niacin flush on occasion…that can be a good detox! Starvation is good for causing ulcers and slowing down metabolism.
