Seems like they’re the same except the flower?! Which is very pretty but I dunno if it’s $1000 pretty?! (I’m not even sure which is more expensive actually)

I’d say the bodice is rouched a tad different…but if you ironed the Gobi it would look exactly the same!! Somebody got lazy and decided slapping a flower on a dress made it a different dress.

@emilyaura:  Besides the flower, looks like the bust of Wtoo Mimi is more ruched than the bust of Watters Gobi. Take a look at pictures of real brides in their dresses and you’ll be able to see the difference.

The material might account for the price gap, but the design certainly does not.

@emilyaura:  I have Mimi and the main difference between the two is the fabric.  Mimi is a synthetic taffeta while Gobi is silk taffeta + what others have mentioned about the flower and bodice. I was a little disappointed in the Mimi fabric when I frist felt it, but I loved the ruching and it’s a beautiful dress that didn’t go over budget… and now I don’t even remember the other fabrics!

I think the pleating on the bust of the Mimi looks a lot nicer. I’m sure the big difference is the fabrics though.

We carry Watters & WTOO, the diffrence is the fabric like the other bee mentioned. Also the Gobi has a lower scoop back with the flower detail while Mimi has the buttons over the zipper on a higher backline. I LOVE the Mimi and personally think it is a great dress for the price!
