@learningtobride:

I was also searching for what people wear with this dress, because I am wearing it also πŸ™‚ However I will tell you that I tried on the ivory/oatmeal combo, and it is GOREGOUS! That is the one I am wearing. As for accessories, I think a necklace might be too much with all of the lace on top – so perhaps earrings and a bracelet? I am probably going to wear a birdcage veil, maybe a tulle one to go with all the tulle on the dress.

But overall, don’t worry about the risk you took, because the color is amazing, and makes the dress so unique!

When are you bees getting married and are either of you thinking of selling your dress after your big day? I am dying over how much I love that dress but I cannot afford to buy it brand new.  I am getting married on May 12.  If either of your weddings are before that date and you’d want to sell please contact me!!!! You will both look gorgeous – that dress is like a fairytale!

Hi all!  I also ordered this dress in ivory/oatmeal, for my wedding in late May 2012.  I ordered a lighter oatmeal tuile veil to wear for the ceremony, and am planning to wear an ivory grosgrain ribbon headband with some kind of bling for the reception (lots of options on etsy).   Haven’t even thought about jewelry yet… I’m accessory-impaired πŸ™‚

This dress is gorgeous!  My bridal salon posted a real bride wearing Sydney in ivory/oatmeal on their blog and I wanted to share it with you all:

I kept my look simple… For jewelry, I did gold/pearl earrings and a gold bracelet.  Shoes were neutral wedges with ivory floral shoe clips (beach wedding).  I went back and forth about the headpiece and ended up purchasing a matching tulle veil…  Of course I forgot it at home! So hair was just in a romantic sideswept updo with fresh flowers.

Hope this gives you guys some ideas…  No matter what, you will look fabulous in this dress!

@btownse6:  Did anyone end up selling you their Sydney dress? If so, would you be interested in a second hand-me-down? I’m desperate to wear it at my wedding next summer. Please let me know! Thanks πŸ™‚

i’m very interested in this dress also!
So if anyone is looking to sell your used dress, please let me know!

My wedding is on Sept 21st, so if I can receive it a month or 2 months before, that would be great!

I’m a US size 0-2. I’m aware that this is a UK size dress, so it might run smaller, which means bigger US size. I’m also 5’1″ in height barefoot. Anything larger I can always do alterations πŸ™‚

Please let me know!
Thanks!

Hi ladies!  I’m also interested in buying a once-wed Enzoani Fairy!  So beautiful and ethereal!  I am looking for a size 4 Enzoani gown (or bigger) and I am not getting married until fall of 2013 so I’d even be happy to purchase a pre-sale pre-owned!  πŸ™‚  Happy weddings all!

Hi Ladies!

I’m selling my Watters Sydney gown – size 14, ivory/oatmeal – new with tags. I bought this a few months ago (a year before my wedding) from a small boutique that stopped selling wedding gowns. I got it for $1,800 (retails for $2,000+). It was tight when I bought it and I figured I would lose the weight, but I really don’t want to stress myself out trying to do that on top of wedding planning. Asking for $1,500 OBO.

If anyone is interested, please email me at [email protected]!

-Francesca
