How long did you have to grow your armpit hair for it to be waxed?

Yay!! And, welcome to the club. I promise it gets easier and easier with every visit. I’ve been waxing year round for years (California). It really doesn’t take long to get your hair all on the same cycle, and after it does it is amazing.

@sheepy19:  I get my eyebrows threaded and everything else sugared. I hate waxing. It doesn’t last as long as sugaring, it hurts more, and it does not make your skin as soft (plus it rips off a layer of skin – ouch). I would never shave, but waxing is up there on my list of what I’d never do too, lol.

I don’t find sugaring hurts anymore and I barely get any regrowth. I’ve been doing it for years, including a full brazilian, and have absolutely no regrets! If only it would stop coming back altogether, ugh. Such a pain. I’ve been considering laser lately.

@sheepy19:  I just had my first brazilian too, and I was impressed! I didn’t think it hurt at all, and I stayed completely smooth for about 3 weeks. I’m now getting some hair regrowth, but its fine and sparse.

I got my armpits waxed for the first time a few weeks ago and I agree it wasn’t bad at all. Everyone was telling me it was going to hurt soooo bad, but it didn’t! The girl had to go over each armpit like ten times! Then she had to start plucking the hairs out because the wax wasn’t getting them and still I had hairs left.

I did it because I have dark armpits. Like a five o’clock shadow. They were still dark, but not as bad.  I plan on doing them again for the wedding.
