I used to get Brazilians all the time and they hurt like a bitch. Worth it for the honeymoon though!

I’ve heard a week in advance. I’m really thinking about waxing, too!

I get my ENTIRE bikini area waxed every couple of months.

Not gonna lie, the first time is pretty dang painful. Make sure to go to a place that uses hard wax- NOT the soft wax where they apply the cloth strips to it. Soft wax hurts SO much worse.

Don’t go if you’re close to being on your period. It’ll hurt more. You can also take an aspirin/advil/whatever 30 minutes to an hour before your appointment to help a LITTLE. It’s still gonna hurt a lot haha.

If it’s your first time, I’d get it done about a week before your big day. My skin was a little sensitive/tender for a couple of days after my first time. Some women also get tiny little acne bumps at first, so a week should be plenty of time for that to clear up.

I’d say more like a couple days in advance. And don’t make that your first time in case your skin doesn’t react well or something.

I’d recommend a Brazillian between 1 week and 3 days before the wedding. You may see SOME regrowth after 1 week (from hairs that weren’t pulled from the root, just ripped from the top).

I’ve had my underarms waxed and I honestly thought that was more painful than a brazillian. And I will never let my armpit hair grow out that long again!

@AquaRhapsody87:  Yup!  Honestly feel smooth down there puts me in the mood too and definitely is a confidence booster!

Take two advils before you go and I’d recommend doing it about 4-5 days before your wedding. Like PP said, go for hard wax. Search to see if you have European Wax Center near you; they use hard wax and will give first timers 50% off their first wax and you can test it out 2 months before your wedding… 1 week prior, if it worked out you can go and get “touched up!”

Bikini/brazilians are SO worth it! Armpits are not in my opinion. My armpits bled (I’ve been told I am not hairy and have easy hair to wax by waxers) and they have to go over again and again to make sure you are hairless. Plus, you have to grow it out to get it waxed, which is just inconvenient. I vote shave your armpits and wax your bikini line!
