@cabana_bride:  Here is a link to some waxing tips: http://www.ilovebombshell.com/Brazilian-Waxing-Tips-Richmond-VA

I’m not sure about getting multiple areas waxed at once as I only get waxed in one spot.  I do suggest getting it done a few days in advance just in case you have a little irritation.  Also, make sure your salon uses a hard or stripless wax, NOT the honey-looking stuff with the strip!!  Go in soon-ish to get a small area waxed to test for allergies or bad reactions before you go waxing large sensitive areas if you’ve never been waxed before.

Many people suggest ibuprofen before going in, but I was pregnant when I started waxing & ibuprofen is a no-no.  Also, because of the hormones, skin can be more sensitive and I had no problems with the hard wax at all.  It stings for like a second but that’s about it.

The strip wax though, OHHHH NO.  Not ever, ever, ever, ever doing that crazy shit again.

@cabana_bride:  if this is your first time waxing, you will be very red and blotchy after.

i get my eyebrows done every 2 weeks, sometimes i am still red for an hour or so after.

i’ve gotten my bikini line and legs done before and it is fine.

you can get waxing done in multiple places.  whatever service you pay for, they will do.  i would suggest getting a test run at least on your face ahead of time so you see how you react.

i never had my underarms waxed.  a friend of mine did for a trial before her wedding and did not like it.

i usally use nair on my bikini line and upper leg and that is what i plan on doing for my wedding.

I’d honestly go right now.  You don’t know how you’re going to react, and hair that’s waxed usually takes about 1 month (sometimes longer) to grow back.  I’ve gotten my lip waxed a lot, but one time my skin was super irritated and I got a weird scab thing above my lip!  It didn’t go away completely for about 2 weeks.  It would suck if something like that happened to you.  I don’t think it’s average, but sh** happens.
