Um well if you want to do a trail run and make sure that the people doing your eyebrows know what you want before you walk in.  It will be red after but that fades so I’d surely do a test run between here and the wedding so you know how your body will react to the process

Don’t do it yourself!!! Worst thing I’ve ever done.  As long as you have an experienced esthetician though you should be fine, but I’d do a test run like 6-8 weeks before the wedding just so you know how your body reacts.  It gets easier every time too, I promise:)

@jbbs1222:  i go every two weeks for eyebrow waxing. my skin is used to it so i am only red for an hour or so afterwards.

at the very minimum, go a month before your wedding to see how your skin reacts.

but why don’t you have a trial now and see.  an eyebrow wax where i live can cost between $8-18, depending on the salon.  i pay $10 and think they do a fabulous job.

@jbbs1222:  I would go 4-6 weeks before the wedding just to test your skin’s reaction since you’re new to it. I go every 2-3 weeks for my brows and I love going to the Benefit brow bar in Ulta. They always do a really nice job. They can also just tweeze your brows there if that’s what you would prefer.

@jbbs1222:  I would NEVER again wax my legs, and my waxer says the upper lip is the WORST. I get a brazilian every 3-4 weeks and LOVE it. I will never go back to shaving. It’s painful but tolerable.

have you ever tried threading? i get my eyebrows threaded and it’s soooo much nicer than being waxed! and it doesn’t hurt, either! my skin goes back to normal colour after 30 mins or so. I’d get it done the day before! 🙂 x

I like getting my eyebrows done. It hurts a bit and I usually stay a little red for up to three days after. I tried threading once, never again! The most painful thing. I think it hurt about as badly as my tattoo. I guess everyone is different, I prefer waxing.
