Now that our wedding has come and gone, I figured I’d share what I did with all those wedding cards that were just taking up space in my closet. I simply re-gifted them for friends and family getting married by making them into new cards!
I just made a new insert for those cards that came with a sheet attached to the inside by cutting down a piece of scrapbook or printer paper and folding in half:
Or, for those cards without an insert inside, I just cut the front page off the card and pasted this to a piece of folded cardstock:
Super easy and free! I also framed my favorite cards so I wasn’t giving away all of them. Any other ideas for what to do with your old cards? I’d love to hear some.

that’s so neat! Did you do anything with the personal messages on the cards or inserts?

@MrsJazzy: I did keep some of the thoughtful personal messages to put in our photo album if they were small enough to fit. The rest I tossed, or if they just signed their name with a short message I tossed it.

I’ve seen some really neat collage frames with cards interspersed throughout pictures of the happy couple. Your idea is great!
