Honestly, I think there is too much going on for my taste. For me, the doily, twine and button just don’t “go” with your cute bunting invitation. I think if you had your heart set on using these other elements, like the twine, maybe you could keep it cohesive with your invitation by using just the twine with heart shaped buttons. If you’re using the doily/twine/button combo to hold your invitation suite together, you may also want to look up bloom invitation envelopes. I think those woudl go very well with your invitatinos. Just my opinion. I do think your bunting invites look really sweet though.

@lola blue: It looks like you’ve put a lot of effort and hard work into your invites, especially threading the buttons, but I think @SugerPlum: makes a valid point, there is just a bit too much going on, I think. Maybe could you find the buttons in a more neutral color?

Whatever you do, you can tell that you really care about and have doted a lot of time to your invite suite, good job 🙂

I don’t think there’s too much going on and I think the doily and button go perfectly with the bunting! I LOVE THEM! You did a great job!!

I like the doily and the button, but I think the twine looks too flimsy, which I understand was to actually fit through the button holes, but I think you need something more substancial…

What if you used like a burlap ribbon or something and then hot glue the button on?

Or use a thicker twine and tie the button on with thread?

I think you are on the right track though!  Great job!

I love your bunting invitation. Did you download them from http://www.weddingchicks.com? I think what you have done is great, I like it with our without the doilys.. Its all personal choice yeah?

Super cute!

Hey there,

I’ve been looking at this suite for a while…how did you manage to edit it?  I love everything about out, but want to shrink it to 5×7 any ideas?

Also – do you know how to use the image at the top (with the birds on the bunting) without the whole thing? …I would like to use that image to create my program

looking forward to suggestions!

Christina
