I love my Mr. but last night and today we have been in a little spat about the music to play at the wedding ceremony. We both love rock music but he loves really heavy and hard rock while I like a little pop mixed in.
I found the songs we are playing for the guests while they find a seat. It’s a collection of rock songs played by the Vitamin String Quartet. This list includes; Drops of Jupiter by Train, Where is Your Boy Tonight by Fall Out Boy, and other various artists. For our grandparents we are playing 100 Years by Five For Fighting(played by the VSQ). My future MIL’s favorite song. And for my bridesmaids and I to walk down the isle Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls (also by the VSQ). Iris is my absolute favorite song ever.
So far everything has been instrumental. Mr. D wants some singing but we can’t decide on a song to play while we light our unity candle and pray as a couple for the first time. And now I can’t even think of any slow songs that I like that isn’t a Goo Goo Dolls song (Mr. D said no more 🙁 sad face entered here). I told him to pick the song but everyone he has picked out has been to fast of a tempo. I want something romantic but I don’t want to hurt his feelings.
Please give me some ideas that I can propose to my man. I’m totally lost, help!
