We didn’t really ask questions. Is this your first meeting?

Ours just told us about how he got into weddings, why he doesn’t do a lot of them, asked us if we had accepted God, then he went through and told us his basic outline.

I had ideas for what I wanted to do with the ceremony, so from there we talked about that. As far as questions though, I really can’t think of any.

I don’t know about need to ask. We made sure he had a backup person in case of emergency (not that we would wish that on anyone, but life does happen and I wanted to be sure we are going to be married that day).  Our officiant is really on the ball and gave us a run down of how a typical ceremony goes, and asked if we had our own vows or any special traditions that we wanted during the ceremony.

Edit: Oh and we asked how he wanted to handle being paid, ie: send him a check before or check the day of.
